We are looking for a Finance Systems Support Analyst to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract, this role is based out of our Bristol office offering hybrid working.
This role will play a crucial role in assisting with the management & maintenance of the firm's financial systems and providing second line support to end users. Reporting into the Finance Systems Operations Manager, this role will involve building strong relationships with the business, helping to maintain a professional, high-quality service to support the firm's existing finance systems, whilst also identifying future roadmap items and assisting in the delivery of these.
The role
The Finance Systems Support Analyst will be a key member of the Finance Systems Team and will involve providing support for the firm's financial systems (Elite 3E, Advanced Financial Solutions, Chrome River, Intapp Time), driving forward improvements to the system along the way.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Investigation and resolution of 2nd line end user support queries for all financial systems.
- Maintenance of the 3E balancing routines and investigation/resolution of differences.
- Liaising with other teams and third-party vendors to rectify issues.
- Maintenance of system administration set ups.
- Assisting with the implementation of system improvements to meet user and business requirements.
- 3E Template configuration.
- Data reconciliation across key finance systems.
We are looking for
- Experience working in a finance systems team in a global law firm.
- Solid knowledge of the day-to-day working processes of a legal finance department.
- An understanding of the business implications of finance systems in a legal environment.
- Strong knowledge of legal practice management systems applications, table structures and relational databases.
- An understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; must be a confident communicator.
- Ability to analyse and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Highly self-motivated with an eagerness to learn new skills.
- Demonstrable team player, with a flexible and patient approach to work and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise work accordingly.
