Osborne Clarke are seeking an experienced EUC Solutions Engineer (Windows 11) to join our growing IT department in our Bristol office on a 6 month fixed term contract basis.
This newly created position will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our enterprise-wide Windows 11 rollout, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and supporting the transformation of our end-user environment.
The role
The EUC Solutions Engineer (Windows 11) will be a key member of the End User Compute (EUC) team, promoting collaboration, team working, and innovation. This role will involve delivering technical solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards, and supporting the transformation of our end-user environment.
Other key responsibilities include:
Windows 11 Delivery
- Deliver technical activities for the existing Windows 10 environment and future Windows 11 rollout across diverse business units.
- Manage the deployment, including automated provisioning, application packaging and delivery, and assist in the office and user readiness plans.
- Validate technical delivery, manage pilot feedback, and work upon phased migration.
- Ensure consistency and quality across device configuration, security compliance, and end-user experience.
Technical Support & Issue Resolution
- Serve as the escalation point for complex Windows 11-related issues, including OS-level behaviours, policy conflicts, hardware compatibility, and enterprise security tools.
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and vendor teams to resolve systemic or platform-level issues.
- Refine and document troubleshooting procedures, aligning with best practices and security protocols.
- Provide exceptional IT support for the delivery of Windows 11 and associated IT services, such as application packaging.
Platform & Tooling Expertise
- Manage the configuration and optimisation of Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Azure AD for the Windows 11 deployments.
- Provide technical delivery and support on endpoint management, security policy enforcement, and application packaging.
- Work closely with InfoSec and network teams on zScaler and endpoint protection integrations.
Collaboration & Governance
- Act as a key technical subject matter expert within the EUC and Infrastructure teams, contributing to steering groups, governance boards, and architecture reviews.
- Ensure you provide progress updates.
We are looking for
We are seeking someone with technical expertise in Windows 11 and related end-user technologies, with a proven track record in enterprise-scale environments, adept at managing complex technical issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve systemic or platform-level problems. Familiarity with ITIL and experience in service-oriented organisations are also important for this role.
In addition:
- Deep technical knowledge of Windows 11 in complex, enterprise-scale environments.
- Solid experience in SCCM – Deployment and packaging, Intune, Intra ID, Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD), and Nerdio.
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking, security principles, and cloud-based access solutions like zScaler.
- Experience in end-user engineering roles, including OS migration projects in corporate environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Methodical and analytical mindset, comfortable working in structured, process-driven environments.
- ITIL awareness and experience operating in a service-oriented organisation.
