After a long period of sustained growth, we are looking to significantly invest in our Communications and Brand team which has led to the creation of a Corporate PR Manager role to be based in London.
This will be a key and transformative role, supporting the firm's strategic objectives by promoting and protecting the firm's reputation, with a strong focus on media relations.

What you'll do
- Develop and execute traditional and new media strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Actively cultivate, manage, and maintain strong media relationships with business media and legal press; act as a firm spokesperson as required.
- Draft and socialise a firm media policy; establish media training programme and offer to key practice teams.
- Build media outreach plans for PR team and select leaders; proactively pitch our corporate story and secure coverage.
- Manage reputational issues to limit media coverage and ensure key message penetration.
- Contribute to firm narrative/positioning for awards, rankings, bids, and other materials; draft and edit media materials, award submissions, thought leadership, opinion pieces.
- Ensure media and social media approach are aligned.
- Oversee effective media reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders.
- Oversee an active register of media engagements.
- Collaborate with Marketing and BD functions to ensure that media coverage enhances and supports the firm's go-to-market strategy.
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of implementing an enterprise PR strategy in a corporate communications role.
- Strategic/advisory capability and ability to earn trust and influence senior executives.
- Meaningful reputational risk management, crisis communications, and issues management experience.
- Strategic corporate media relations experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Strong emotional intelligence, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Keen understanding of the role of social media in corporate communications.
- 360 approach to communications, considering non-media stakeholders (e.g. employees, clients).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Planning, process, and project management strengths.
- Familiarity with AI and willingness to learn.
- Media training.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate direct reports.
- Business acumen and pragmatism, commercial mindset, and financial literacy.
- Someone who is self-motivated, proactive, and flexible with the ability to embrace and capitalise on change.
- A calm and rational approach to problem-solving and critical thinking.
