We are looking for a dedicated Intranet & Knowledge Systems Executive to join our Knowledge team on a 12 month Fixed term contract.
The key purpose of this role is to support the Head of Knowledge Management in driving the development and operational management of Osborne Clarke's intranet, to ensure it remains a dynamic and vital hub for knowledge and communication across all Osborne Clarke offices.
This role is based in our Bristol office on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Usability and User Experience: Approve major page redesigns, ensure intranet usability and good UX, and collaborate with Content Editors.
- Stakeholder Management and Communication: Define business requirements with stakeholders across the international business and manage ongoing communication.
- Content Management and Editing: Train Content Editors, assign permissions, maintain content lists, triage requests, and provide support.
- Site Management and Maintenance: Generate usage reports, maintain the site map, create new sites, and ensure regular maintenance.
- Project Management Support: Assist in coordinating Knowledge initiatives.
- Supervisory Support: May oversee an Intranet Assistant's work, ensuring effective task division and collaboration.
- Meeting Administration Support: Support meeting scheduling, minute-taking, and report drafting.
Person Specification
You will have editing-level knowledge of SharePoint and administrative experience in managing systems like SharePoint, including permissions, structure, and content governance.
You will also need to:
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, able to work within tight timeframes, adapt to changing priorities, and manage your own workload.
- Possess clear written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on the target audience.
- Build relationships and have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Collaborate and interact with people across geographies, challenging and influencing where appropriate.
- Be proactive in agreeing priorities and identifying the appropriate level of importance and urgency for projects.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to think from a user perspective and be eager to develop and apply user-centred design principles.
- Generate insights and support decision-making using analytics.
- Deliver training and advice to Content Editors.
- Have experience in informal supervision or task delegation, with the ability to coordinate the work of junior team members effectively.
