We have a brand new opportunity for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our Responsible Business team to lead the development and delivery OC UK's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Community Partnerships strategy and deliver our charity and education partnerships.
This is an exciting time to join the team following the arrival of our new Head of Responsible Business, Kate Millar, who joined OC earlier last year.
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract and can be based in any of our UK offices (London, Bristol or Reading). We support hybrid and flexible working patterns.

What you'll do
Reporting to our Head of Responsible Business, you will take the lead in shaping and driving OC UK's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Community Partnerships strategy while also playing a pivotal role in managing our impactful charity and education partnerships. Your key responsibilities will include spearheading initiatives such as:
The Bridge Partnership delivery
- Work with partner schools to identify how OC can support them to improve the career prospects and life chances of their students.
- Design, develop and deliver highly engaging sessions at our partner schools, which meet the needs of OC and our school partners, and are engaging and relevant for the young people who participate.
- Engage and inspire colleagues across OC to get involved in volunteering for the Bridge.
- Measure and evaluate the impact of the programme, including tracking repeat participation rates to ensure we are meeting the ultimate programme goal of 4+ interactions with young people throughout their school career.
Pro Bono Strategic Partnerships
- Work with our Pro Bono lead partners to identify and develop long term, high impact pro bono partnerships.
- Support our Pro Bono key contacts and Resource Managers to connect fee earners to opportunities to relevant pro bono work.
- Partner with Communications to profile the success and impact of our strategic pro bono partnerships.
Armed Forces Covenant
- Lead the implementation of the Armed Forces Covenant, and support OC Military Network on its journey to receiving the Gold award.
Support the CSR Advisor
- Oversee the work of the CSR and Pro Bono Advisor and ensure well organised, efficient delivery of all community and volunteering events.
What we're looking for
- Knowledge and experience of developing and delivering strategic community and education partnerships.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact with people at all levels, support more junior colleagues and provide appropriate challenge to more senior colleagues when required.
- Engaging facilitation skills, able to deliver interactive sessions with young people in an involving and impactful way.
- Proactive, adaptable, able to work on own initiative as well as in collaborative scenarios. Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload when under pressure.
