The role

The Change Manager will be a key member of our Change & Transformation team, working closely with colleagues across Portfolio Management, Business Analysis and Programme & Project Management to ensure change is understood, well-managed and successfully adopted. Benefits, Readiness & Adoption

·         Work with Project and Programme Managers and Business Analysts to input into benefits realisation plans, ensuring change activities support agreed business outcomes.

·         Assess change readiness across impacted groups and recommend targeted interventions to increase adoption and sustain new ways of working.

·         Define and use feedback mechanisms and metrics to monitor transition progress and embed continuous improvement into change delivery.

·         Support work to improve processes, enhance operational performance and strengthen client and user experience as part of change initiatives.

Portfolio Integration & Ways of Working

·         Support portfolio-level integration by understanding interdependencies, change capacity and sequencing to avoid saturation and maximise value across the firm.

·         Collaborate with colleagues in the Change & Transformation team to align approaches, share insights and maintain consistent standards.

·         Use appropriate tools, technology and AI to generate insight, improve efficiency and support decision-making within change management activities.

·         Contribute to the continuous improvement of change methodologies, templates and tools, helping to refine how we deliver change across Osborne Clarke.

We are looking for

·         Excellent communication and engagement skills, with clear, tailored written, verbal and presentation abilities.

·         Strong facilitation and influencing skills, able to generate participation, harness diverse perspectives and build consensus without formal authority.

·         Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to simplify complexity and connect change activity to wider firm objectives.

·         Proven stakeholder management skills, including engaging a wide range of stakeholders, managing expectations and maintaining commitment to change outcomes.

·         Demonstrable change management expertise, with a solid understanding of how change fits into the end-to-end project lifecycle and broader business agenda.

·         Commercial and business acumen, with the ability to understand how the firm operates and creates value, and to use that insight to shape effective change decisions.

·         High emotional intelligence, with strong interpersonal skills, self-awareness and empathy, and the ability to build collaborative, trusting relationships.

·         Resilient and adaptable, able to maintain effectiveness under pressure and adjust approach in response to changing priorities and feedback.

·         Highly organised, with strong time management, project planning and teamworking skills, able to balance competing demands and reliably meet deadlines.

·         Technology and AI aware, with curiosity about new tools and the ability to adopt them appropriately within change management activities.

·         Experience supporting and co-ordinating communication, engagement and training efforts central to a change management strategy, including providing input, documenting requirements, and supporting the design and delivery of effective interventions.
