Osborne Clarke are seeking an experienced Project Manager to
join our growing Change & Transformation department in either our London or
Bristol offices.
This position will play a crucial role in managing and
successfully delivering a portfolio of smaller strategic or operational
projects across the firm, ensuring alignment with business initiatives and
contributing to the transformation of our target operating model.
This is a permanent position offering hybrid working.
The role
The Project Manager will be a key member of the Change &
Transformation team, promoting collaboration, team working, and innovation.
This role will involve managing inter-dependencies, budgets, resourcing, and
any risks and issues that may arise, while ensuring stakeholder engagement and
change management activities are fundamental to delivering business outcomes.
Other key responsibilities include:
Project Delivery
- Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
in collaboration with senior stakeholders to support the business in achieving
their desired outcomes.
- Developing and managing integrated project
plans, including the identification and management of inter-dependencies and
the critical path.
Collaboration
- Working closely with business analysts to ensure
requirements analysis, process mapping, and other tasks are planned and carried
out effectively
- Collaborating with key partners such as
Procurement, ITS, and external vendors to ensure quality project delivery.
Reporting and Governance
- Delivering progress reports, proposals, and
presentations to ensure key governance forums and stakeholders can make
effective decisions in a timely manner, with critical risks and issues
escalated as appropriate.
Change Management
- Collaborating with change managers to ensure
change management activities are planned and carried out effectively, or
directly carrying out change management activities following our centre of
excellence approach.
Benefits Management
- Focusing on benefits management and the delivery
of associated business outcomes.
- Conducting project lessons learned and feeding
these into our central processes.
Risk Management
- Proactively
identifying and managing project risks and issues.
We are looking for
- Proven record of delivering positive, tangible
outcomes for small-scale, operational projects.
- Technical expertise in project management with a
full understanding of the project life cycle.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the
critical role that a change & transformation department plays within an
organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
skills, with proven client relationship and stakeholder management abilities.
- Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating with
strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and schedule own
resources appropriately, while playing an active and constructive part in the
team.
- Behaving in an open and collaborative way that
reflects Osborne Clarke's core values and is considerate and respectful of
colleagues and customers.
- Good understanding of change management and
business analysis to ensure robust end-to-end delivery lifecycle.
