Our
Restructuring & Insolvency practice advises on complex and high-profile
domestic and cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters. The practice
sits within the Disputes & Risk group and undertakes a mix of
non-contentious and contentious work, with a particular emphasis on advisory
and transactional matters.
We act for all
key stakeholders in stressed and distressed situations, with particular
expertise advising lenders, debtors, sponsors, distressed investors, and
insolvency practitioners. Our matters are often global in scope, highly
strategic, and time-critical.
The team
handles a wide variety of instructions for a diverse client base encompassing
creditors, debtors, insolvency practitioners, and turnaround professionals. Our
expertise covers the entire restructuring and insolvency toolkit, including
advisory mandates, transactional support and contentious matters arising out of
insolvency and restructuring processes. We work closely with leading
restructuring accountants and turnaround professionals. Our cross-border
expertise is supported by our international office network, which includes
restructuring specialists in our European practice, and we have considerable
sector expertise in areas such as retail, financial services, digital business,
energy and renewables, and real estate and infrastructure.

What we are
looking for
We are seeking
a qualified lawyer who can demonstrate experience in restructuring, insolvency,

and excellent organisational abilities. First-rate written and verbal
communication skills are essential, along with versatility and an
entrepreneurial spirit.
As a guide,
due to the nature of the work and the structure of the team, we are looking to
appoint an Associate, although we will consider candidates with more or less
experience who have relevant exposure to restructuring and insolvency work.
