We have an exciting new
opportunity for a Senior Associate or Associate Director to join our London
M&A team. This role will have a particular focus on the energy and energy transition
sector.
You will become part of a
thriving team and involved in a wide variety of transactions and projects in
the sector. The ideal candidate will have a core practice focused on energy
M&A experience, but also with some energy commercial, regulatory and/or
financing experience. We're flexible on the exact skillset range outside of a
core energy M&A practice.
You will be given responsibility
for building client relationships and business development whilst working in a
collaborative and supportive team environment.
The practice
Our corporate team is an
established leader within the mid-market, advising UK and international
organisations on all aspects of buying and selling public and private companies
and businesses. Many of our transactions are cross-border in nature, with values
typically of £50m to £500m and covering the firm's core sectors.
One of the firm's turbocharged
sectors is energy and energy transition, and we have a busy team within London
corporate M&A working the space. We also work closely with our specialist cross-service
line energy teams covering regulatory (and grid), project finance, real estate,
planning, construction and disputes. We've an impressive bench covering the
full lifecycle of projects from inception through to secondary markets M&A
and decommissioning.

advising on the recent CCUS clusters being developed at HyNet and Net Zero

M&A (most of the work), as well as VC, and the equity side of both project

We've got around 35 other fee
earners in London corporate at all levels.
You would work for a range of
team members in London corporate and beyond, including working closely with the
London projects team.

which will have been gained at a well-respected firm in this field. As a guide,
due to the nature of the work and the structure of the team, we are ideally
looking to appoint a Senior Associate or Associate Director with a passion for
