Osborne Clarke are seeking a Finance Systems Data Analyst to join our growing International Finance Systems team in either our Bristol or London office.
This newly created position will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate entry of key master data into the Firm's Practice Management System and the reconciliation of that data across systems, contributing to the transformation of our finance systems.
This is a permanent position offering hybrid working.
The role
The Finance Systems Data Analyst will be a key member of the International Finance Systems Team, promoting collaboration, team working, and innovation. Reporting in the Finance Systems Operations Manager, this role will involve working with key stakeholders to ensure that user and timekeeper data is kept current and in sync across the firm's financial systems (these currently include Elite 3E, Elite Data Insights, Advanced Financial Solutions, Chrome River, Intapp Time).
Other key responsibilities include:
Data Management: Creation and maintenance of time keeper setups, set up of new users across finance systems, creation and maintenance of non-billable matters, update of matters for bulk changes, and maintenance of security model across all finance systems.
Reconciliation: Headcount reconciliation and ensuring time critical tasks, such as dealing with end user support calls and the reconciliation of data across systems, are dealt with promptly.
System Improvements: Assisting with the implementation of system improvements to meet user and business requirements.
Support: Providing back up and support for the Support Analyst.
We are looking for
- Knowledge of the day-to-day working processes of a legal finance department preferred.
- Knowledge of legal finance systems (Elite 3E, Aderant).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; must be a confident communicator.
- Ability to analyse and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Highly self-motivated with an eagerness to learn new skills.
- Demonstrable team player, with a flexible and patient approach to work and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise work accordingly.
