We have a great opportunity for an experienced Internal Communications professional to join our Communications team on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. This is a full time position based out of our London office, with the ability to work on a hybrid basis.
The role
As the Internal Communications Manager, you will be a key member of the Communications team, providing strategic communications support to the firm and delivering holistic communication plans to drive strategic alignment, stakeholder and employee engagement, and support the firm in achieving its growth and value ambitions.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Communications: Planning, designing, and implementing creative, impactful, and effective communication strategy and plans to support the Osborne Clarke UK partnership, practices, and functions. These communications could include written, digital, and face-to-face communication events such as town hall meetings, partnership meetings, presentations, emails, social media posts, intranet content and videos.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with various departments to gather information and insights, ensuring that communications are cohesive, relevant and timely and with a clear objective.
HR Communications: Managing and delivering HR-related communications, maximising engagement and ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with the firm's values and objectives.
Intranet Content: Drafting and publishing articles for the intranet, ensuring content is engaging, informative, and relevant.
Content Creation: Assisting with the development of briefings and presentations and scripts. Writing compelling copy that brings the firm's strategy, culture, people and expertise to life.
Evaluation: Regularly evaluating the impact and effectiveness of the communications outputs and adapting them accordingly. Making full use of the available channels and tools to measure the effectiveness of communications, and make recommendations for improvements
We are looking for
- Experience in internal communications within a law firm or similar professional services environment
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder and employee engagement/management skills.
- A deep and demonstrable understanding of the critical role that internal communications plays within organisational engagement and strategy.
- Experience in building, tracking and executing strategic communication plans and managing their effectiveness
- Strong customer focus, with an emphasis on building an understanding of Osborne Clarke's needs and creating processes and communications plans to support that.
- Collaborative and flexible approach, providing structure without unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Ability to maximise the impact of complex information across a diverse portfolio of communications channels
- Flexible and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and project management skills in order to successfully prioritise and manage several projects at once.
